Engineering and stamping

Engineering letters and PE stamps, handled for you

Many AHJs want a licensed engineer's review before they approve a system. We prepare the calculations and coordinate the review and stamp with licensed US professional engineers, so you do not have to chase it.

Structural drawings and calculations on an engineer's desk

What we prepare

Calculations and letters that sit alongside your plan set.

  • Structural load letters: roof framing checks for the added dead load and wind and snow loads
  • Attachment calculations: spacing and pull-out checks for the racking you use
  • Electrical review: conductor, overcurrent and interconnection checks
  • Wet and digital stamps: through licensed engineering partners in the states they cover

How it works

  • You send the job: with attic or framing photos where possible
  • We run the calculations: and draft the letter
  • A licensed PE reviews and stamps: in the state where the project is
  • You receive the stamped documents: ready to add to your permit submission
Questions

What installers ask us

Which states can you get stamps for?

Stamps come from licensed engineers in the state of each project. Tell us where you install and we will confirm coverage before you send the first job.

Do I need a stamp for every job?

It depends on the AHJ. Many residential jobs only need the plan set. We will tell you when your jurisdiction asks for an engineer's letter or stamp.

Can you combine engineering with the plan set?

Yes. Most installers send one request and get the plan set and the engineering documents together.

Need a stamped set this week?
